is a pilot documentary on the research developed by Augusto Zita, a young Angolan anthropologist who, in 1983, started a research project in the Namibe desert based on the concept of Utopia and how that concept represented the motivations of European expansionism in the world and particularly in his country. Augusto Zita was one of the first African anthropologists to reversed the direction of the anthropological inquiry in the attempt to understand the colonial societies that had established themselves in his country, by researching their cultural symbols and values imprinted on the infrastructure built throughout centuries of presence there and the organization, administration and use of the territory.
